On 8th September 2024, Salemtutors had the pleasure of attending the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Open Fair, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! From the perfect weather to the lively events, it was an unforgettable experience for us, and we were thrilled to meet so many wonderful families, children, and community members.

The fair was packed with excitement from start to finish. From a spectacular dog show that had tails wagging, to a cool bike show featuring some seriously impressive wheels, there was something for everyone. Not to mention the brilliant variety of stalls that kept visitors busy all day long! It was the perfect setting to connect with families and introduce them to the joy of learning with Salemtutors.

At our stall, we hosted a range of interactive and fun Math games that both kids and parents couldn’t get enough of. It was so rewarding to see children light up as they solved puzzles, tackled math challenges, and discovered just how much fun numbers can be. From simple addition challenges for the little ones to brain-busting logic puzzles for older students, everyone had something to enjoy.

One of our favorite parts of the day was watching the excitement of the kids as they cracked tricky math problems with big smiles on their faces. We even had some spontaneous competitions where children raced against each other to solve math problems—and believe us, the competitive spirit was high! Parents were also eager to chat with us about how we can help support their children’s academic journeys, and it was wonderful to share our passion for making math enjoyable and accessible to all students.

The fair itself was a great mix of community spirit and entertainment. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—sunny, with just the right amount of breeze—which made walking around and exploring the various attractions all the more enjoyable.

All in all, the day was a huge success. We were so grateful to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming event. Meeting so many enthusiastic kids and parents really energized us, and we can’t wait to see some of the faces from the fair again soon at our tutoring sessions.
